There are 286 tropical themed rooms & suites which have
been designed in Polynesian style bungalows with balcony or
terrace (the resort has 4 handicapped equipped rooms).
Each room includes either a King-sized or 2 double beds, air
conditioning & ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone, coffee
maker, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, safety deposit
box, cots available upon request.
Dining
The Buffet is the resort's place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Newly renovated with air conditioning, this restaurant is situated
above the hotel lobby and includes a spearate non-smoking area.
The Mexican, as it's name implies, is a Mexican restaurant with
a la carte menu-style dining with a palapa situated in the centre
of the resort.
The Pizzeria Snack Bar is open for lunch buffet, as well as
being a bar & for late night fare.
Lobby Bar Aqua Bar is a swim-up bar and serves drinks adjacent
to the swimming pools.
The Disco is Occidental Allegro Playacar's nightclub.
Activities
Occidental Allegro Playacar is a great holiday choice for those
who like their breaks to be fun-filled and busy. Sports available
include volleyball, beach soccer, ping pong, darts, billiards,
tennis & basketball. For those who enjoy water sports the
resort is situated on a wonderful beach and guests may join
in activities such as Scuba classes at the pool, Non-motorized
water sports including kayaking, snorkeling, boogie boarding,
and sailing & windsurfing. In the evening, there is a comprehensive
range of activities, shows and entertainment much of which is
based around the theatre.
