The Grand Occidental Cozumel has 252 spacious rooms and suites which are decorated in a traditional Mexican Colonial style, offering comfort and elegance. Deluxe rooms offer king size or two double beds, air conditioning, ceiling fans, balcony, satellite television, telephone, mini fridge, electronic safety deposit box and a hairdryer. As an alternative to the deluxe rooms the Royal Club is an intimate VIP area offering a hotel within a hotel! The Royal Club includes fully equipped business centre, restaurant and bar, private pool and lounge area, and more personalised attention. Guests at the Royal Club will also enjoy room service, Jacuzzi style bath tub within a larger bathroom, DVD players and internet access.

Dining
La Posada is a buffet style restaurant with International cuisine available for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.
Sonora Grill offers a la carte dining with succulent steaks a speciality.
La Hacienda provides Mexican cuisine from menu style dining.
Los Olivos provides Mediterranean flavours to its menu.
La Piazza is a more casual restaurant offering pizza and pasta.
Beach Club offers daytime snacks next to the ocean.
Royal Club offers Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for Royal Club guests only.
For those wanting to relax with a drink why not try a cocktail at the Beach Club, or a drink and a dance at La Mision which is a bar and disco. Alternatively lobby bar and relaxed bar offer a wide range of spirits, wines and beer in an extremely relaxed environment.

Activities
The Occidental Grand Cozumel offers a great variety of activities with 2 illuminated tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, gym and spa services, there is also snorkelling, volley ball, windsurfing, and aqua aerobics. Off shore, deep sea fishing is available as well as superb diving at the Palancar Reef, this is the worlds second largest reef network where divers may explore its limestone caves, rare black coral and the world famous ‘Devils Throat’ which is a ninety foot tunnel which ends in a sunlight opening at 130 feet. You will also enjoy marine life, which includes loggerhead turtles, native toadfish, barracuda and eagle rays.
These offshore activities may be accessed from the Palancar dive centre at an additional charge.

Spa facilities are available (additional charge) which includes various massage treatments as well as a beauty salon.

Please note that there are limited flights direct to Cozumel from the UK which often means guests would fly into Cancun and be transferred by ferry (ferry journey about 30 minutes). This can be arranged when making your booking.
